We’re working to provide helpful information regarding transportation, lodging, and things to do while you’re in New Orleans. Check back often for updates.

The event venue

The majority of our event will take place at the Lavin-Bernick Center on the campus of Tulane University.

Here is a link to the venue’s Google Maps posting: Lavin-Bernick Center.

Lodging

We’re excited to offer on-campus lodging again for this year’s event, which helps to keep travel costs low.

The planning committee is also working to create a list of nearby hotels.

Parking on campus

If you are bringing your own car, you must purchase a visitor parking permit for all days you will be parking on campus.

The permits cost $5 a day and can be purchased ahead of time on the Tulane visitor parking services webpage. Find the section on “Purchase one-day or multi-day parking passes”.

We recommend you wait until closer to the event and purchase your permit before heading to campus. You should print out your pass and keep it in your car.

You are required to display your permit in your car and park in an assigned visitor parking area. We will provide a map closer to the event.
