Become familiar with Tulane’s campus

Main venue: Lavin-Bernick Center

Screenshot of Google Maps of Tulane's campusThe majority of our event will take place at the Lavin-Bernick Center on the campus of Tulane University.

Visitor parking: Dibboll Parking Garage and Claiborne Parking Lot

Visitor permits are valid in the Diboll Garage 2nd floor through 6th floor and the Claiborne parking lot. Permits are not valid in reserved spaces or meter/ParkMobile spaces.

Lodging: Barbara Greenbaum House

We will be staying in the Greenbaum Residence Hall, which is only a couple blocks from the main LBC venue.

Tulane does not have a visitor parking area close to Greenbaum (our on-campus dorm). However, they will allow those attendees with a permit and staying in Greenbaum to park in the 1021 Audubon Street Lot.

On-campus lodging and hotels

We’re excited to offer on-campus lodging again for this year’s event, which helps to keep travel costs low.

We are about to have a book of rooms at a nearby hotel.

Parking on Tulane’s campus

If you are bringing your own car, you must purchase a visitor parking permit for all days you will be parking on campus.

Parking permits are required on campus Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, excluding weekends and university holidays.

The permits cost $5 a day and can be purchased ahead of time on the Tulane visitor parking services webpage. Find the section on “Purchase one-day or multi-day parking passes”.

We recommend you wait until closer to the event and purchase your permit before heading to campus. You should print out your pass and keep it in your car, but we believe they track the permits by license plate, so printing may not be necessary. If you can print your permit ahead of time, then you should.

You are required to display your permit in your car and park in an assigned visitor parking area. We will provide a map closer to the event.

How to purchase your visitor parking permit

Permits can be purchased by visiting Tulane visitor parking services webpage and clicking on the button that reads “Log in to Parking System”. Visitor permits can be purchased for one day or multiple days. The cost is $5.00 per day.

Where attendees should park on campus

Visitor permits are valid in the Diboll Garage 2nd floor through 6th floor and the Claiborne parking lot. Permits are not valid in reserved spaces or meter/ParkMobile spaces.
